Our liquid seaweed, extracted from the unique South African giant kelp, Ecklonia maxima, holds various beneficial properties that are advantageous for crop production.     Founding company registered by Klaus Rotmann.

  • 1976

    1st South African seaweed rights received.

  • 1977

    1st South African agar factory established (Butterworth).

  • 1978

    Received further seaweed rights on the East Coast.

  • 1979

    Received further seaweed rights on the West Coast.

  • 1980

    1st Namibia seaweed rights received (Lüderitzbucht) /1st South African seaweed rights on the South Coast.

    Started 1st Namibian oyster farm in Lüderitzbucht.

  • 1986

    Started 1st Namibian agar factory in Lüderitzbucht.

  • 1990
